Miss Mariah | Indianapolis Child Photographer

Mariah is always a challenge to photograph.  The whole session I'm always wondering how the pictures will turn out, but as always we got some super cute shots!  I'd much rather be playing with my new lens (I got the 28-70 2.8...yay!!!), but I was eager to get these pictures to my pal, Andrea.  Hope you love them all! 

Sweet Baby Malachi | Indianapolis Child Photographer

Malachi walked in full of smiles so we already knew our work was cut out for us.  This is a very difficult age to shoot since he can't quite sit up on his own yet and he was so fascinated in everything around him.  He did a wonderful job and we can't wait to see him again!

These are the moments we are proud to witness, a couple so much in love that they chose to renew their original wedding vows.  Their love for each other is real and beautiful.  Five years into their marriage, it's quite obvious they are just as in love as they were the day they first exchanged vows.  We almost always see tears at weddings, but we definitely weren't expecting them here.  Congratulations, Megan and Jeff.  We wish you many years of joy and happiness!

Changes | Indianapolis Photographers

As most of our regular customers know, we have been making a lot of changes to our business.  The biggest change you will notice is our name - we are now Lewis James Photography.  We started Phunky Photos several years ago.  At the time we were mainly shooting local bands.  We both worked at a local studio shooting families, pets and children.  We would have music artists come in randomly for pictures and we decided we wanted to offer something more since the studio wasn't really equipped with things musicians like to have in pictures.  Not too long after we started working with all of these local musicians, we started shooting the musicians families.  From there on we picked up weddings and more families.  From the families we started getting seniors.  We have built up a great clientele over the years, and for that, we are very thankful.  We love seeing your children grow and change over the years and we love having the opportunity to capture the most precious moments in your lives.  From the births of your children to the day you marry your best friend.  It truly is an honor to capture these very important moments.
